Cadence puts community in the forefront

Posted by Blog Council Staff on July 23, 2008

Cadence Design Systems has made their corporate blog and community the centerpiece of their new company website. Cadence’s site is a great example of how many large companies are turning to a more conversational way of interacting with consumers. Thanks to Jeremiah Owyang for the story.

My thanks once again to Jeremiah and a big thank you to the Blog Council for posting this!

I am Cadence’s social media/web community manager — and as the title suggests, I manage Cadence’s new community site. I’d be happy to share my experiences, answer questions, etc. to anyone interested. Just ping me.

Also HUGE kudos to Cadence’s web team led by their guru Jim Price. These guys rock! They designed and built not only the new community site but the new cadence.com as well.

Tom,

You’re welcome! It’ll be interesting to watch you lead Cadence’s community efforts, especially based on your previous work at Symantec.

We should talk about Cadence joining the Blog Council. Your expertise would certainly add to the community’s wonderful pool of shared experience.

I’ll get in touch.

Cheers,
Michael
