ROI Proof Point: Social Media Improves Reputation, Boosts Customer Satisfaction

Two-thirds of companies that adopted social media reported improved customer satisfaction.  That’s one of the key findings in a recent study from IT consultancy Avanade.  While the summary focused mainly on organizational challenges, this and other key data reveal a direct link between social media adoption and ROI increases.

Other key findings included:

  • 64% reported an improved reputation in the marketplace
  • 2 in 5 companies tied an increase in sales directly to social media adoption
