Use social media to help your customers use your products

Some of the best examples of corporate social media blogs are those designed to help the world use the products they represent.
There are plenty of these around, but here’s a few examples:
- Clorox’s Dr. Laundry: How do you get that mustard stain out of your spandex pants? What’s the best way to bleach lamp shades? How do you lighten a pair of dark jeans? Dr. Laundry shows us how.
- TurboTax Blog: What changes are coming for next year’s tax policies? Do you qualify for 0% capital gains tax? Are your donations to the Salvation Army tax deductible? What are the tax penalties for tapping your 401(k) early? These are just a few of the topics TurboTax has hit in the past few months.
- Progressive’s Understand Insurance blog: Should you insure your golf cart? Does auto insurance transfer from an old car to a new car? What’s covered if someone breaks into your car? Insurance is a complicated world, but this Progressive blog, post by post, breaks it all down into understandable information.
- Rubbermaid - Jim Deitzel and his team blog about getting organized, preparing for the holidays, getting ready for New Year’s, etc.
Could social media help your customers better use your products?
