Blog Council Member Meeting
and Unconference 5

How it works

You should be there

As a leader in corporate social media, your voice is critical to the advancement of our industry. Blog Council Member Meetings are designed for rich, candid discussions that often lead to new ideas, new strategies, and best practices. Your participation is important in shaping corporate social media.

Here’s an overview of our proven format for a day of collaboration, brainstorming, and networking:

Morning Discussion

We’ll spend the morning discussing a central topic currently facing corporate social media. In both large and small-group formats, we’ll collaborate on the issue, resulting in numerous insights which are typically later released as a Blog Council-sponsored publication. Our unique format offers rich conversations without complexity — there are no PowerPoint presentations, no lectures, and no strict structure.

Lunch

We’ll take a break around lunchtime to enjoy some high-level networking and some great food.

Afternoon Unconferences

In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy 9 fascinating conversations led by fellow Blog Council members. These are candid, off-the-record discussions on a variety of corporate social media topics. You’ll hear new ideas and lessons learned, and you’ll ask questions directly to your executive peers.

Wrap-up

We’ll end the day with a special guest speaker who’ll join us in a casual roundtable discussion. Past guests include Guy Kawasaki, Seth Godin, and Emanuel Rosen.
