The Blog Council is a for-profit organization that is privately owned and operated by GasPedal, LLC. The current member list is posted on our public web site. Those members pay a fee to participate. We happily write about them and support them. You can find out more about GasPedal and its business interests here.

Authors

All content on this blog is the work of the Blog Council staff, except for specific posts that are credited to guest authors. The Blog Council blog does not act as an official or unofficial spokesperson for any organization, and in no way does the Blog Council represent the views of our members or their employees. Guest posts are the sole opinion of their authors.

Comments and Moderation

We write this blog in a spirit of openness and do encourage comments. Comments are open, but we do moderate them. We will remove all comments that are off-topic, spammy, overly self-promotional, abusive, inappropriate, or uncivil in any way.

Anonymity

Disclosure is a core value of the Blog Council. Feel free to debate or disagree with us, but please identify yourself (as we do here) so everyone’s agendas can be open for all readers to see. If you use an alias for privacy or security, you should clearly indicate any bias, agenda, or affiliation. Anonymity has an important role online, but it also empowers anyone who wants to be disruptive and destroy the conversation without contributing. Disclosure forces people to be honest and take responsibility for their own words. Anonymous comments are likely to be moderated or deleted.
